Direct – Tec Group Acquisition

We are delighted to announce that today we have completed the acquisition of Century 21 Business Products Ltd, one of the leading copy, print and scan solutions provider in Hampshire. Century 21 (C21) has been supplying and servicing office equipment across the county for over 36 years and has an outstanding reputation for quality and customer service in the area. Being part of the Direct Tec Group, C21 existing and new customers across the South of England will now be able to leverage the experience, support and additional product range we offer, plus all the extra benefits we provide at Direct tec as a larger group. Customers can take advantage of our leasing packages, with photocopiers or multi-function devices and our innovative, bespoke document solutions which we create and implement through our partnerships with leading software and technology providers.

Established in 2004, with offices in Westerham in Kent and Southampton, Direct tec is the leading provider of print and document solutions throughout the South of England in the corporate, major account and private sectors. We have continued to expand and extend our portfolio across the region, enabling customers to access globally renowned technology and top brands in printing, copying and document management, while providing first class after sale customer care through our local support.

C21 provides a range of Toshiba office equipment which will now fall under the Direct tec portfolio.  Existing C21 customers will be fully supported by our team to ensure total continuity of service and customer care.  This latest acquisition accelerates Direct tec’s capabilities in the region helping us to continually deliver exceptional service and best value to our customers.

Adrian Crucefix (Group Finance Director) said: This acquisition continues our growth and extends our geographical area, being our fifth acquisition in the last 5 years and taking the Group to its target of £10M turnover in the coming year. We welcome the C21’s team to the Group and are also pleased to announce that Geoff Kynaston (Managing Director) will be staying on during the transitional period to ensure that the merger runs smoothly before stepping down from the role to concentrate on his local charity work, I thank him for his valued input during this time.
